About the role:


DBFL Consulting Engineers, one of Ireland’s leading engineering consultancies, is seeking a proactive and highly organised Bid Administrator to join our dynamic marketing team.

This role will support the co-ordination, preparation, and submission of bids and proposals for public and private sector clients. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, and the wider marketing team, the Bid Administrator will be responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the bidding process.

Duties will include monitoring and circulating etenders portal notifications, collating and formatting bid documents, maintaining CV and project case study databases, managing bid schedules, supporting compliance checks, and ensuring version control of all bid materials. You will also assist in identifying tender opportunities, tracking submissions, and maintaining records to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and time-management skills, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

This is a full-time position based in our Dublin office.


Desired qualifications and requirements

  • 2-3 plus years’ experience in a similar administrator or marketing/bids position demonstrating strong admin skills and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in business, marketing, or similar discipline

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) is required.

  • Familiarity with the etenders website, as well as experience in a similar role within the engineering, construction, or professional services sector is preferred, though not essential.
